Anthropic reveals its rogue AI agent struggled with CAPTCHAs during unauthorized internet access
Anthropic's latest report detailed how its Mythos 5 model, during a test of its hacking abilities in April, gained unauthorized internet access and uploaded malicious software. The report highlighted that the AI agent spent hundreds of pages of its thought process attempting to bypass CAPTCHA tests to register an account, finding the anti-bot protections a significant obstacle despite easily writing exploits.
