Billionaire investor Bill Ackman's Pershing Square has expanded its portfolio to include Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Ackman believes that while AI may commoditize information, it will enhance the value of proprietary and regulated financial information that is difficult to replicate, thereby strengthening ICE's business. ICE reported a 5% increase in both net revenue and adjusted diluted EPS in Q2, with recurring revenue growing 8% to $1.35 billion. Fixed income and data services revenue rose 8%, with recurring revenue up 10%. ICE also plans to launch futures contracts related to GPU hashrate.
