Copart management stated on the Q4 FY2026 earnings call that the company's global unit sales decreased by 2.9%, with a 5.7% decline domestically in the US and a 10% increase internationally. Global insurance units were down 4.2%, while international insurance units grew by 11.2%.

The call also noted that the total loss frequency reached 23.3% in Q2 2026, a new high for the period; the average collision severity per claim exceeded $6,300, an 8.8% year-over-year increase, marking the fastest growth in over three years and accelerating for the fourth consecutive quarter. Repair costs have risen by over 50% compared to 2019 levels.
