The precision-engineering group's shares rose after Bank of America upgraded its rating from Underperform to Buy, citing a stronger-than-expected demand cycle, particularly from semiconductor equipment, electronics manufacturing, and aerospace customers. Renishaw reported record fourth-quarter revenue of approximately £243 million, up 27% year-on-year, with full-year revenue expected to reach around £815 million (about $1.1 billion), representing 14% growth. Adjusted operating profit for the year is projected at £152 million, and adjusted pre-tax profit at £167 million, up 31% year-on-year. Bank of America also raised its 2027 EBIT estimate by 22% to £181 million.
