Bloomberg: Chinese AI firm Moonshot AI targets $2 billion in annual revenue by year-end, double August run rate
Moonshot AI, the maker of Kimi, aims to achieve this aggressive goal by the end of the year, reflecting the success of its K3 model since its release this summer. OpenRouter data shows K3 models currently generate as many as 300 billion tokens daily. The company's model development practices have faced controversy, with Anthropic earlier this week accusing Moonshot AI of illegally routing nearly 300,000 requests from Kimi to Claude Opus to collect over 23 million responses for training purposes.
