Apple, in collaboration with TSMC, has launched the A20 Pro chip for the newly released iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Duo. This chip, manufactured using TSMC's cutting-edge 2-nanometer process, enhances computing power and reduces energy consumption. Analysis indicates that despite Apple's new chip, its development in artificial intelligence (AI) lags, and its revenue growth projections are lower than TSMC's (Apple's revenue growth is projected at 15% and 10% for 2026 and 2027, respectively, while TSMC's is projected at 43% and 34%). Furthermore, NVIDIA has surpassed Apple to become TSMC's largest customer. Given TSMC's faster growth prospects and lower valuation, analysis suggests that TSMC stock has greater upside potential than Apple.
