Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz believes XRP could eventually surpass Bitcoin in market value
Schwartz stated on an X Spaces on September 9 that XRP's market capitalization could eventually exceed Bitcoin's, provided XRP grows faster on its own rather than Bitcoin losing ground. As of September 12, XRP trades at $1.36, while Bitcoin is near $77,310. Bitcoin's market cap is between $1.54 trillion and $1.58 trillion, significantly larger than XRP's $85 billion to $89 billion. Schwartz emphasized that this would occur through XRP's accelerated growth within an expanding crypto market.
