Saudi civil defense authorities reported that projectiles fired by Yemen's Houthi rebels on Saturday struck al-Tuwal province in Saudi Arabia's southern Jizan region, injuring two people and damaging a mosque, several buildings, and multiple vehicles. A Saudi civil defense spokesperson stated that the Houthis' targeting of civilian objectives constitutes a "blatant violation of international humanitarian law." The Houthi group, however, claimed their attack targeted a military base in Sharurah, Najran province, in southern Saudi Arabia.
