Barclays raises Oracle price target to $252 from $250, maintains 'Overweight' rating
Barclays raised its price target for Oracle to $252 from $250, maintaining an 'Overweight' rating on the tech stock, which is currently trading around $154. The adjustment follows Oracle's fiscal first-quarter results, where the company reported total revenue of $19.3 billion, up 30% year-over-year, and cloud infrastructure revenue jumped 121% to $7.4 billion. Oracle also saw its remaining performance obligations (contracted future revenue) grow by $26 billion during the quarter, with about half expected to convert to revenue over the next 36 months. The company raised its full-year revenue guidance to at least $90 billion and non-GAAP EPS guidance to $8.10. Barclays believes Oracle's growth has inflected and should keep accelerating, citing strong demand and an improved funding mix as key reasons for its confidence.
