Yahoo Finance analysis predicts that chip-equipment maker Applied Materials (AMAT) is on track to book its first $10 billion revenue quarter this fall. The company's management expects its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026 (ending late October) to be the first, with a revenue midpoint forecast of $10.25 billion, plus or minus $500 million, which would be about 51% above the year-ago period. The analysis notes that while the guidance range bottoms out at $9.75 billion, the company has consistently exceeded its own forecasts this fiscal year.
