According to Moody's, America’s data center boom will require $110 billion to add 45GW of power capacity through 2030. More than 30GW is expected to come from natural gas, requiring an extra 4 billion cubic feet of gas supply. Data centers could consume 10% of U.S. electricity by 2030, as AI and cloud demand rapidly reshape the power market.
