Etihad Airways CEO says passenger capacity up 15-17% year-on-year despite Iran war, with strong demand and 92% load factor in August
Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves stated that the airline's passenger-carrying capacity (Available Seat Kilometres) is currently 15% to 17% higher than a year ago. He noted strong demand is expected heading into the winter travel season, with the load factor reaching 92% in August and targeting over 87% for the remainder of the year. Neves added that the airline is "back on track" after the Iran war earlier this year disrupted flights and pushed fuel prices higher.
