The rally follows fresh artificial intelligence (AI) safety warnings issued over the weekend by Anthropic and OpenAI CEOs, which are seen as expanding the need for security spending. Okta (NASDAQ:OKTA) stock is also joining the move.
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published an essay on Saturday calling for a slower pace in AI model capability improvements, while OpenAI CEO Sam Altman agreed and warned about losing control to AI.
