Netflix, Amazon and Alphabet (谷歌) have co-founded the "Streaming Access and Choice Alliance" to advocate for policy changes that would allow digital platforms to more freely bid for live sports and entertainment rights. The alliance aims to challenge the antitrust exemption in the Sports Broadcasting Act, which currently allows sports leagues to collectively sell television rights. Following the news, Netflix shares rose 4%, Alphabet gained 3%, while Amazon slipped 0.7%. The move is seen as particularly significant for Netflix, which seeks to expand into live sports content, while its partners' core revenues are less dependent on such rights.
