Wickes Group, a UK building materials retailer, announced its H1 FY2026 results, with revenue up 2.1% and adjusted profit before tax up 1.1% to £27.6 million. Growth in retail sales and a 5.7% increase in design and installation revenue offset the impacts of price deflation and cost inflation. The company saw strengthening momentum in Q3, with retail like-for-like revenue growth accelerating to mid-to-high single digits. Wickes plans to open 4-5 new stores in H2 and accelerate expansion from 2027. The company returned £26 million to shareholders and raised its interim dividend by 2.8% to 3.7 pence per share.
