Elon Musk retweeted a post stating that the SpaceX Starship Flight 14 mission is planned for September 22, aiming for its first stable low Earth orbit insertion and deployment of production version Starlink V3 satellites. This will be Starship's first revenue-generating mission.
This flight will also attempt to complete a full orbital mission profile from launch to deployment, deorbit, and reentry, and conduct another major test of the V3 heat shield. The 14th flight is the third flight of the Starship V3 architecture, and the Starlink V3 satellites to be deployed are designed with a downlink bandwidth of 1 Tbps, an uplink bandwidth of 160 Gbps, and equipped with six 400 Gbps laser links each.
