Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Ukraine's sanctions policy commissioner, stated in Singapore that sanctions are the most effective means of compelling Moscow to engage in serious peace talks. He noted that components found in missile debris shot down in the Kyiv region primarily originated from the United States, Russia, China, Taiwan, and Japan. Vlasiuk plans to meet with officials from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand during his Asia trip to discuss Russia's "shadow fleet" and the flow of microelectronics into its defense industry.
