Zcash climbs nearly 6% to $1,200 as most major cryptocurrencies slide ahead of Fed rate decision
Zcash was the only major cryptocurrency in the green, rising to just above $1,200. XRP led the decliners, down over 7% to $1.29, while Ether and Solana each fell about 3%. Bitcoin, BNB, and Tron were all down about 1%, with Bitcoin trading just under $76,000 after dipping below $75,000 on Tuesday. This drop followed the failure of the CLARITY Act in the U.S. Senate, a bill aimed at regulating digital assets. The Federal Reserve is expected to announce a quarter-point rate hike later today.
