Australian mining company Minerals 260 has secured commitments to raise $178.2m (A$250m) before costs via a two-tranche share placement. The funds, raised at A$0.88 per share, will finance the next stage of development at its Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia. The placement includes a A$30m cornerstone investment from Franco-Nevada Corporation. The company also plans to offer a share purchase plan to raise up to an additional A$30m. Minerals 260 expects to have approximately A$633m available for the project, which has an estimated pre-production capital requirement of A$855m. Final investment decisions are anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.
