Wallstreetcn has learned from multiple industry sources that Stellantis' luxury brand Maserati is in talks with Huawei Qiankun and JAC Motors for a potential collaboration. The plan involves Huawei Qiankun providing technical support and JAC Motors offering production lines for Maserati's new models. The project intends to use the ZunJie brand domestically in China, while retaining the Maserati brand overseas. It is also considering utilizing JAC's factories for domestic production, with a possibility of establishing new production facilities in Italy. However, as of now, the project has not been officially signed, primarily due to unresolved issues regarding configuration and pricing. Maserati's global shipments are projected to drop to 7,900 units in 2025, highlighting an urgent need for external technology to supplement its new product offerings.
