French President Emmanuel Macron stated at a press conference held at the Élysée Palace that the threat of hybrid attacks from Russia against Europe and France is escalating, and he has asked the French government to develop plans to protect critical infrastructure and the defense industrial base. He also announced that France will convene a meeting of the Group of Seven (G7) to discuss energy issues and raise the issue of natural gas reserves, in order to strengthen cooperation and avoid unnecessary tensions.
