On September 20, the Lijian-1 Y18 carrier rocket successfully sent "Chaozhisuan-1" and eight other satellites into their predetermined orbits. These satellites are equipped with optical remote sensing and AI computing payloads, capable of on-orbit image processing and target recognition, compressing data response times from hours to minutes. The day before, Zhuzhou Space-Star PIESAT-2 13 to 16 satellites also entered orbit, possessing on-orbit remote sensing data interpretation capabilities. This series of advancements signifies that space computing power is transitioning from scientific research demonstration to commercial deployment, bringing new mission sources for commercial satellites and rocket launches, reshaping the demand structure of commercial aerospace, and extending the focus of competition from the number of satellites to data processing efficiency.
