Chinese retailer KK Group has acquired a 10% stake in fresh snack brand Jinlimen.
Recently, Hunan Explorer Brand Management Co., Ltd., the parent company of Jinliment, underwent a change in its industrial and commercial registration. Wu Yuening, founder of KK Group, and Guangdong Kuaike E-commerce Co., Ltd., KK Group's operating entity, became new shareholders, each holding a 5% stake with a subscribed capital contribution of RMB 1.1111 million. Following the capital increase, their combined stake is 10%. Sources close to Jinliment suggest that KK Group's commercial real estate resources, site selection experience, and nationwide store management capabilities could help Jinliment reduce trial-and-error costs when entering new cities and facilitate its national expansion.
