Nissan Motor aims to boost its U.S. production from nearly 487,000 units in 2025 to approximately 1 million annually by 2030, driven by the launch of its 2027 Rogue crossover, including a new hybrid model. The Japanese automaker officially revealed the 2027 Rogue with its new "e-Power" technology for the U.S. market on Monday. The company plans to add a third production shift at its Smyrna, Tennessee plant, which could create hundreds, if not thousands, of new jobs. U.S. manufacturing of the hybrid is expected to begin next year, with initial imports from Japan to accelerate market entry and support Nissan's global turnaround plan.
