Themed ETFs see $76 billion in net inflows since Dec. 2024, making a comeback especially among Gen Z investors
A Morningstar analysis found that after a retreat from 2022-2024, investors have returned to themed ETFs, with AI-themed funds accounting for nearly a third of the recent inflows. A Nasdaq 2024 survey also revealed that 34% of Gen Z investors are interested in thematic funds.
