The company noted that the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute's learner base in Egypt grew tenfold in one year, and Nigeria has become its second-largest market globally. Across Africa, four AI factories have been announced or brought online within a year, with another 656 megawatts of new capacity in the pipeline. Key investments include an estimated $400 million for a new data center in Egypt by Hassan Allam Utilities and A15, up to $720 million by Cassava Technologies for AI factories across several African nations, and a $1.2 billion initial investment for the Nexus AI factory in Morocco by Nexus Core Systems in collaboration with the Moroccan government.
