LG Electronics' AI liquid cooling equipment receives NVIDIA certification, South Korean stocks rise nearly 7%.
LG Electronics' 2.5-megawatt Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) has received NVIDIA DSX Ready certification, granting it technical access to NVIDIA AI factory-related projects and positioning it to secure liquid cooling orders for AI data centers, according to a September 22 report by the Seoul Economic Daily. Currently, only three 2.5-megawatt class CDU products globally have passed this certification, with LG Electronics' product among them. Following the announcement, LG Electronics' stock on the Korean exchange rose by nearly 7%.
