More than 300 Palestinian American constituents from across the country met with over 100 US lawmakers' offices on Tuesday, advocating for a shift in US policy towards Israel and Palestine. The advocacy day, organized by Americans for Justice in Palestine Action (AJP Action), comes as the Trump administration has reportedly approved a $2.8bn military aid package for Israel. The package is said to include 20,000 MK-84 bombs, known for causing widespread civilian devastation. Several Democrats have vowed to block the transfer, with House Foreign Affairs Committee ranking member Gregory Meeks already slowing congressional clearance last week.
