A new survey by the CFP Board reveals that clients of financial advisors are significantly worried about both short- and long-term costs, with 69% expressing increased concern over affordability in the past 12 months. A substantial 78% of clients are concerned about the long-term viability of Social Security, and 73% share similar worries regarding Medicare, both facing projected trust fund depletion. These concerns have led 29% of clients to make early withdrawals from retirement accounts and 20% to reduce or eliminate contributions.
