Japanese trading house Sojitz is considering investing JPY 100 billion (approximately USD 635 million) in renewable energy grids and other infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand over the next three years, citing stable local markets and growing electricity demand. Sojitz has been involved in infrastructure projects in Australia since acquiring Capella Capital Partnership last year and plans to expand its energy-related businesses.
