Meta unveiled its first camera-free AI glasses, Ray-Ban Meta Audio, at the Connect 2026 conference, starting at $349. The product aims to address previous privacy concerns with AI glasses by supporting audio-only functions, including listening to music and podcasts, making calls, voice translation, and interacting with Meta's AI assistant, Muse. Without a built-in camera, the new glasses are lighter and thinner, offering up to 12 hours of battery life, extendable to 48 hours with the charging case. Pre-orders for the glasses will begin on October 13.
