Iran’s IRGC Navy command stated that Washington’s “insistence on urging vessels to pass through mined waterways illegally has led to an increasing number of maritime incidents.” The warning comes after the IRGC said its forces struck four vessels involved in ship-to-ship oil transfers in the Gulf, setting them on fire, while three other ships hit mines west of the Strait of Hormuz.
