Two killed, eight injured in attack on Dammam airport in eastern Saudi Arabia; Houthis suspected
Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) stated that two people were killed and eight others injured in an attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on Wednesday evening. The deceased were a Saudi citizen and an Indian resident. While GACA did not specify the attack type, Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi movement has frequently targeted Saudi airports with drones and missiles. Earlier on Wednesday, two people were killed by debris from a drone intercepted over Eastern Province, which the Saudi energy ministry said was attempting to target an Aramco processing facility.
