According to market sources, Singaporean data center operator DayOne Data Centers is considering adjusting its US IPO plans, potentially reducing the fundraising target from up to $5 billion to $2.5 billion-$3 billion, and not ruling out a postponement of the listing. DayOne previously sought a listing valuation of approximately $20 billion and filed its F-1 prospectus with the US SEC on October 5. The company has experienced rapid revenue growth, generating $512 million in the first half of 2026, a 238% year-over-year increase, but reported a net loss of $82 million during the same period. Its largest client is ByteDance, contributing nearly 70% of its revenue. Additionally, data center companies such as NVIDIA-backed Firmus and Blackstone-owned AirTrunk have also postponed their IPO plans, indicating that capital markets are becoming more cautious about high valuations and asset-heavy expansion in this sector.
