India working to repatriate Umrah pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia amid Houthi attacks on airports
India's Minister for External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal stated that efforts are underway to repatriate Indian nationals on pilgrimage, who are stranded in Saudi Arabia due to Houthi attacks on Saudi airports. Over the past week, approximately 3,000 stranded pilgrims have returned to India on available flights, in addition to more than 10,000 normal pilgrims. India’s embassies and consulates in the kingdom have set up 24-hour emergency control rooms to assist those seeking help.
