The White House Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) released a new analysis stating that President Trump's "America First" agenda is revitalizing American manufacturing, bringing historic investment, raising wages, and igniting a blue-collar job boom. The report notes that after losing over 200,000 manufacturing jobs in the last two years of the Biden administration, the Trump administration has increased manufacturing employment by 72,000 by 2026, with 101,000 of those in durable goods manufacturing. Since President Trump took office, real wages for blue-collar manufacturing workers have increased by an average of $2,400 annually, and real wages for construction workers have risen by $3,800. Additionally, U.S. business growth has reached its highest level in five years, manufacturing continues to expand, and U.S. goods exports are on track to reach a new historical high.
