Kyiv was hit by three waves of missile attacks hours after Russia reportedly agreed in principle to resume peace talks with the United States and Ukraine, according to the BBC. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sarcastically referred to the missiles as being launched by "Russian humanitarians." Previously, U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff had called Russian President Vladimir Putin a "humanitarian" after meeting him in St. Petersburg.
