Yemen's Houthi rebels reportedly hit Saudi Aramco's decision-making center in Dhahran with missiles on Thursday, according to local media. Sources revealed that "the top three floors of a building" at the headquarters were destroyed, and Saudi Aramco has ordered the evacuation of remaining staff from the headquarters, transitioning to indefinite remote work. Saudi Arabia has not officially confirmed the incident. Driven by this news, Brent crude futures for December delivery rose over 4% during Thursday's trading session, closing up approximately 4% at $113.17 per barrel. This marks its largest daily gain since October 8 and its highest closing price since May 4. US WTI crude briefly surpassed the $100 mark and rose over 3% during the day. A Houthi spokesperson stated that they conducted four military operations against Saudi Arabia in the past 48 hours, targeting the Ministry of Defense building in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, and Abha International Airport. The Iranian Navy also announced that it struck four oil tankers in the northern Persian Gulf and warned that if the US continues to encourage ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, it could launch attacks on US military bases and expand the scope of the conflict.
