The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has recovered from intermittent transaction processing delays, following an abnormal ledger close time on October 21. XRPL Operations confirmed on October 22 that ledger close times have returned to normal after network operators implemented recommended configuration changes.

Meanwhile, a critical security amendment (fixCleanup3_4_0) aimed at fixing vulnerabilities in financial applications such as token permissions and lending has encountered a setback, with its activation postponed until November 4. The amendment was originally scheduled for activation on October 23, but its activation countdown was reset after validator support briefly fell below the required 80% supermajority threshold. XRPL contributor Vet confirmed that this amendment is unrelated to the recent network delays.
