According to sources cited by Wallstreetcn, AI lab Anthropic plans to publicly file its prospectus as early as late October and complete its IPO by mid-November, with a potential valuation of up to $1.5 trillion. Despite the AI infrastructure sector facing interest rate shocks and valuation pressure, leading several peer companies to postpone or withdraw their listing plans, Anthropic is still pushing ahead. According to a draft S-1 prospectus reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Anthropic generated $16.3 billion in revenue and incurred a net loss of $80.7 billion in the first half of 2026, with approximately $72.0 billion of the loss attributed to accounting valuation changes from convertible notes and other financing instruments. The company achieved $16.8 billion in revenue in the third quarter, along with adjusted profitability and positive free cash flow.
