Intersect, a member organization of the Cardano ecosystem, announced that the public Dijkstra testnet is now open for participants to test, encouraging Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) to join before the v11.2 release and hard fork to pv12. The Dijkstra testnet was relaunched on October 21st and is currently running protocol version 11 (Conway) and node version 11.1.3. This upgrade is planned to include features such as nested transactions, account enhancements, guardian scripts, Plutus V4, and freely withdrawable staking rewards. The Ouroboros Leios plan is scheduled to launch with the Dijkstra hard fork but will gradually implement its full functionality in subsequent versions.
