Polling firm Wedgewood admitted on October 20 to fabricating most of its election surveys. Its results were previously included by data aggregator VoteHub, which also served as a data source for some contracts on the prediction market platform Kalshi. Kalshi listed VoteHub as a data source in its September 2025 regulatory filings, which could lead to traders incurring losses due to fraudulent data.
