Former Israeli Ambassador Alon Pinkas stated that he does not believe the situation in the West Bank will affect Tuesday's election, as all these factors have already been priced into voting patterns. He noted that while Israelis like to deny the current state of the West Bank, deep down they understand that the region has become a "powder keg" on the verge of explosion. Pinkas also added that Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Netanyahu wish to instill a "permanent state of war" among Israelis.
