Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, head of the Political Bureau of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated that Iran would become the aggressor's grave if the enemy launched a ground invasion. According to Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency, Brigadier General Javani noted that U.S. forces at various bases in the region already face restrictions, questioning how they could maintain a presence in unfamiliar terrain. He warned that if the enemy made such a mistake, regardless of the route chosen to enter Iran, the country would become a "killing field" for invading foreign forces.
