Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen Hamara stated that Starlink connectivity "is now stable" after the military experienced several days of satellite network connection restrictions. Previously, network throttling had impacted Ukrainian military and drone operations, causing drones to lose connection when reaching speeds of 161 km/h (100 mph) or higher. Hamara said that network speeds can now reach over 400 km/h, indicating full functional recovery. The Ukrainian military widely uses Starlink and its military version, Starshield, for military operations, especially in remote areas of the battlefield.
