Al Jazeera reports that European opposition to renewed US and Israeli attacks on Iran is growing, fueled by soaring global oil prices exacerbating Europe's cost-of-living crisis and widespread protests across several European nations. Major countries such as Germany and the UK, which had previously remained silent on US-Israeli bombing of Iran, are now openly calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict that is disrupting global oil supplies. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot warned that a further escalation of the situation between Iran and the US would lead to a "lose-lose" scenario and undoubtedly have very serious consequences for hydrocarbon prices. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has also consistently opposed the US-Israeli actions, calling them "illegal, unjust, and unreasonable," and linking them to Europe's rising economic costs.
