Anthropic on Monday filed its S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a Nasdaq IPO, planning to list under the ticker ANT. Crypto trading platform Liquid reported that Anthropic's implied valuation slightly decreased by about 2% to $1.88 trillion after the announcement, while Better Markets cited a valuation of approximately $1.43 trillion under its pricing methodology. Simon Dedic, founder of Moonrock Capital, expects the company to begin trading in mid-November and warned that the listing could mark the "top of the AI bubble," but also potentially become one of the largest wealth creation events in private market history. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley will lead the offering. Anthropic achieved revenues of $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, an increase of approximately 1300% year-over-year, and reported an operating profit of $974 million in the second quarter. However, it incurred a net loss of $66.3 billion during the same period, primarily due to non-cash financing adjustments such as the revaluation of convertible notes. The company also disclosed massive infrastructure agreements with computing providers including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and SpaceX, with the agreement with SpaceX potentially reaching $120.5 billion by 2029.
