Israel's general election will be held on Tuesday, and with the country not allowing overseas voting (except for diplomatic missions), up to 80,000 Israeli citizens living abroad are expected to return home to cast their ballots. This election is exceptionally competitive, with security, conscription, and judicial reform being key issues. Yael Shomer, a political science professor at Tel Aviv University, stated that these 80,000 votes could significantly impact the final outcome. Voter turnout is projected to rise from 70% in 2022 to 87%.
