A CNBC survey shows that the Bank of Japan (BOJ) is expected to maintain its policy rate at 1.25% at the two-day meeting concluding this Friday. However, given persistent inflation and wage increases, all respondents anticipate the BOJ will prepare for a rate hike in December or January next year. The survey also indicates that most respondents expect the Japanese Yen to trade between 157 and 158 against the US Dollar in the coming month, and the benchmark 10-year Japanese government bond yield to rise to 3% to 3.1% by year-end.
