MSCI Inc. has threatened to revoke Indonesia's emerging market status, a move that has begun to impact the country's corporate bond market. According to sources, Bank KB Indonesia has postponed a dollar bond issuance, making it the first Indonesian company to delay a bond offering since MSCI issued its warning. The bank cited market volatility as the reason for the suspension, stating it might re-evaluate the market at a later date.
